Jeremy N. Morgan is a composer and arranger of music for concert bands and small ensembles. Details and snippets of selected works can be found on this website.
Jeremy grew up in Bloomington, MN and began his career in music starting with piano lessons as a child. He learned trumpet in elementary school, and continued playing into high school under Dr. Earl Benson. It was in high school that he completed his first publicly performed composition, a work for eight trumpets. He earned a full scholarship in music and went on to hone his compositional skills with the guidance of Dr. Barry Kopetz, Tully Cathey, and Mark Johnson, at the University of Utah. During that time, his first work for wind symphony was selected to be premiered by the University of Utah Wind Symphony. Since returning to Minnesota, he has played in the South of the River Community Band (Eagan, MN) as a percussionist and oboist; during this time, the band premiered several of his works for concert band. He now leads the band as a Director.
Jeremy currently calls Northeast Minneapolis his home.
All of Jeremy's music is currently self-published, and is available for purchase and licensing. He can be contacted here with any inquiries, grandiose or mundane.
